About the ESPN National Golf Challenge

The ESPN National Golf Challenge is an amateur 2 person event (in both Gross and Net Divisions). Winning teams advance from your registered Local Host Site to Regional Finals and, if successful, advance to the televised National Finals in Las Vegas, October 24-26, 2008

For the Club Professional

The ESPN National Golf Challenge is presented and sponsored by Callaway Golf. In an effort to encourage you to participate in our rapidly growing event we have designed this special incentive to our Staff Members.

The "Top Ten" Club Pro National Finals qualifiers from our Staff Membership will receive 3 room nights at Treasure Island for the Club Pro National Finals. The designated nights are Oct 23rd, 24th and 25th, 2008. The awards are based on player participation at your Local Qualifier(s). Sites may accumulate players from hosting more than one event! In addition, all financial incentives available for participating in the event apply.

Every Pro qualifying and attending the $125,000 Club Pro National Finals qualifies for $500 payment from the pool. Pro's that host at least 60 players at their site may elect to receive their $500 or $1,000 payment early without requirement to attend the National Finals.

• Clubs hosting 24 or more players may qualify a pro if a team from their Local advances to the National Finals ($500 payout to be paid at the National Finals)
  
  
• Clubs hosting 60 or more players automatically qualify 1 pro to participate and immediately qualify for the $500 payment.
  
  
• Clubs hosting 100 or more players automatically qualify 2 pros to participate and immediately qualify for a $1,000 payment!
  

For Your Amateur Participants

All amateur participants receive 1 dozen Callaway ix Tour Balls and an annual subscription to Golf Magazine for participating in the Local. The golf balls are distributed to players on the day of the event.

Winning Teams advancing to the Regional Finals receive tee gifts of at least $100 in value, greens/carts fees, range balls, and food/beverage included in their regional entry fee. There is no additional entry fee for the teams advancing to the National Finals.

Guidelines:

• Staff members are required to notify the ESPN National Golf Challenge by phone or by including the text "CALLAWAY STAFF" in the comments section of the online registration form during registration.
  
  
• Top Ten Staff pros are determined by total player count at their Local Qualifier(s) as indicated on their settlement form(s) to the Golf Challenge.
  
  
• Pros must qualify and attend the 2008 Club Pro National Finals to receive their complimentary room nights.

If you qualify in our Top 10 for our National Finals, your basic room and tax charges for the nights of Oct 23, 24, and 25th will be complimentary.

Club Pro National Finals offers a $125,000 Pro pool. The Pro event will be held on Oct 24th and 25th, 2008.
